As 1,000 people gather to commemorate the Kindertransport, 'Kinder' saved by that rescue operation and living in Britain today are calling on government to "match the efforts of the Kindertransport by committing to resettle 10,000 child refugees."

The petition is asking the UK to resettle 10,000 at-risk child refugees, the same number saved from Nazi-occupied Europe on the eve of World War II during the Kindertransport operation.
