Arman was just 10 years-old when the Taliban came to power. In the chaos of the fall of Kabul, he lost track of his parents. He managed to flee to the UK with his aunt, but his mum, dad and young siblings were left behind.
What followed was years of painful separation. Without his parents by his side, Arman was terrified and couldn’t move on with his life. Our lawyers fought tirelessly to bring them to safety, despite the recent closure of vital safe routes for Afghans.
After months of legal battle, they’re now finally reunited in the UK, and rebuilding their lives together, safe at last.
