Why donate?

The government is tearing refugee families apart by keeping a vital safe route — Refugee Family Reunion — suspended.

It’s a lifeline for many children fleeing war or persecution, helping them reach safety and rebuild their lives with those they love. But with this suspension, many will be left stranded alone in war-torn countries or unsafe camps.

It’s not just wrong — it’s unlawful. So we’re taking legal action to challenge this cruel decision.

By donating today, you will fund our case against the Home Office and keep up the fight to reunite families.

Arman (name changed) was just 10 when he fled Afghanistan and was separated from his parents and siblings. They were reunited a few weeks ago, but many children like him might not get this chance anymore.

About Safe Passage International

Safe Passage International is a charity that exists to defend safe routes for refugees and help families torn apart by war and persecution to reunite safely. We work in the UK, France and Greece, providing expert legal and social support to child refugees.

Our history starts in 2015, in Calais, as a group of volunteer lawyers used the power of the law to help unaccompanied children reach their loved ones in the UK. Since then, we’ve reunited thousands of families and won significant victories to protect the rights of child refugees all across Europe.
